Library closed on Monday, June 21 in observance of Juneteenth
CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) will be closed on Monday, June 21, in observance of Juneteenth, which was recently deemed a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in all of the United States. Wi-Fi will continue to be accessible outside the buildings during the closure. Book drops will remain open during the closure. The Summer Feeding Program for Monday will also be modified as follows:
The following locations will provide hot lunches as planned, but will serve the lunches outside the buildings:

11:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Cooper River Memorial: 2036 Cherokee Street, Charleston

Due to the closure, snacks will not be provided on Monday at the following sites, but will resume regular operations on Tuesday, June 22. Below is also the list of the other dates and locations for snacks this summer.
