Author and illustrator Mo Willems has been hosting some daily drawing and storytelling lesson! We've put several of them together to make a complete Friday afternoon art class. There's even a printable, step-by-step tip sheet with every lesson. to help artists young and old.
Grab some paper, pencils, pens, crayons, or chalk and some paper and let's make some art with Mo.
In the first lesson, we'll learn how to draw Pigeon! Here's the tip sheet to help with the art process.
In the second lesson, we'll learn to draw Elephant! Need some tips of getting your Elephant just right? Grab the tip sheet here
In the third part of this project, we'll learn how to draw Piggie! After this, we'll be ready for any kind of story. Maybe you'll create "Don't Let Pigeon Cook Us Dinner!" or "Piggie and Elephant Look Under the Couch." Here's the tip sheet for drawing Piggie, if you need help.
And finally, in part four of this drawing series, we have a sheet of finger puppets to color and cut out before we make our own play. Download the finger puppets here
