Summer Reading 2024
Worry less, read more! Get lost at your local Charleston County Public Library as we host our 2024 Summer Reading Program. In partnership with Charleston County School District (CCSD), the program promotes reading and offers incentives throughout the summer, along with featured events for all ages. Prize pickup begins June 1.

Earning prizes is now easier with Beanstack - track and log reading online or through the app. Already have a Beanstack account? Sign-in to your existing account to start logging. If you don’t have access to the internet or a device, you can request a paper reading log at your local branch.

Summer Feeding
CCPL provides free meals and snacks at select branches during the summer in partnership with CCSD and the Lowcountry Food Bank. The Summer Feeding program is June 10 through August 2.
Please note that there will be no service on June 19 and July 4, in observance of Juneteenth and Independence Day.
