Star Wars Reads Day at Main Library
Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and Kylo Ren invade the library for an afternoon of Star Wars-related fun for the entire family. Bring a camera to have your photo taken with characters from the Star Wars Universe, as members of the Carolina Garrison chapter of the 501st Legion, a volunteer international Star Wars costuming organization, will be dressed in lifelike gear. Fans can also compete in a Jedi training obstacle course, enjoy target practice on Storm Troopers, visit the Jakku Junkyard, and take a break from the excitement with Yoda Soda and Wookiee Cookiees in the Teen Lounge. A screening of “Solo: A Star Wars Story” will begin at 2 p.m.
