African-American Read-In/ Cookbook Club (Gullah and Soul Food)

Hurd/St. Andrews Regional Library - Celebrate Black History Month by participating in this special program that highlights literature and the culinary arts. This month's Cookbook Club features a Gullah cuisine and soul food-inspired theme in anticipation of the upcoming March 6 event with famed Gullah chef Charlotte Jenkins, so bring a dish to share with the group! This event coincides with the National African-American Read-In, and books and poems written by African-American authors will be read. Bring your favorite texts to read and share with others.
