      Subject: To many Lowcounty residents Stephen "Ski" Tatkovsky embodied the real meaning of Christmas and giving. "To him, " said his wife "Christmas wasn't just a holiday, but a Holy Day. He felt better when he helped someone else. Stephen "Ski" Tatkovsky was Santa Claus to thousands of Lowcounty children over the past two decades. He died of cancer the day before Thanksgiving at the age of 56.
