- Abstract:
This study aims to contribute to the body of work on principal preparation programs by replicating previous studies at University X. It seeks to further add to the literature by addressing previous gaps. Quantitative data were taken from cumulative grade point average (CGPA), the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA) scores, the Principal Internship Mentor Assessment (PIMA) scores, gender, and ethnicity. Linear regression, correlation, and multivariate analysis of variance were used to assess the data. Transformational leadership was the theoretical basis of the study. The study findings were similar to the outcomes of the previous studies by Goldman and Taylor. However, a new finding was that there were no significant differences in CGPA, SLLA scores, or PIMA scores for the variable ethnicity.
