Scott Momaday, Barney Old Coyote, Alfonso Ortiz, Helen L. Peterson, Arthur Raymond, Everett B. Rhoades, Gwendolyn Shunatona, Joseph C. Vasquez, and Annie Dodge Wauneka. These subjects can serve as role models for elementary and secondary students. Many of the biographies suggest topics worthy of further reading and research.
