    • Abstract:
The article comments on the research paper "Construal Processes in Preference Assessment." According to the author many economists are interested in utilizing methods of learning about preferences other than revealed preference analysis. The author believes that its main contribution is to focus attention on the so-called construal process as an inherently interesting subject of study, not simply because variation among respondents leads to variation in responses and mistaken inferences, but because these processes are a critical element of decision making in many arenas.
