The article announces the November 2013 dissolution of the Swiss contemporary classical music and music education association Schweizerischer Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Jugendmusik und Musikerziehung due to allegedly waning interests in the study of the recorder, the finance of the society, and a lack of leadership. A brief history of the organization is provided along with information on the availability of documents from the society's music archives.
