The article discusses how the Nurse Transition Program (NTP) had expanded to handle new graduate nurses in the additional facilities. It says that hospital mergers are growing because of various advantages which include better patient outcomes, cost reduction, and improved quality of care. In addition, a survey was conducted of new graduate nurses who had attended the NTP.
