      The article presents a panel discussion on enhancement of bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs and advantages of using lipid-based drug delivery systems. Topics discussed include capacity of lipid-based formulations to improve oral bioavailability of drugs and their potential to address both biological barriers. The panel featured Eduardo Jule and Hywel Williams, both scientists at drug maker Capsugel, and Julien Meissonnier, director of research and development (R&D) at drug maker Catalent.
