NAFTA AS AN ALTERNATIVE FORM OF ECONOMIC INTEGRATION. FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE POST-COMMUNIST COUNTRIES. (English)
    • Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the issue of mutual relationships between NAFTA and the European Union. Although their interests diverge both economic blocs have a lot in common thus making their cooperation inevitable. Added to this is the looming threat from the Asian giants, in particular China and India. This threat may eventually bring NAFTA and the EU closer together. NAFTA could also be a source of inspiration for the newly emerging integration movements of the former Soviet republics [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
    • Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
