      This article provides news regarding major topics within the field of social work. Discussed are the topics of rape and politically `correct' curricula that have received extensive media coverage. The article also includes the controversy over whether the victims of rape should be publicly identified. The lack of consistent media policy leading to greater discriminations and unfair treatment is also examined, as well as a debate on educational reforms, and views of the groups pushing for reforms and those who are determined to retain policies.
