Describes a method that can be used by parasitologists and veterinarians to identify the highly pathogenic species of medium and large stomach roundworms afflicting ruminants. Use of a distinctive patterns of ridges on the outer cuticular surface of the roundworms; Species of the genus Haemonchus that are parasitic to sheep, cattle and goats; Development of a taxonomic key by zoologist J.
