    • Abstract:
      Despite developments in expression and art therapy activities, creativity in adolescents, a field which is not with very much in clinical practice and literature, does appears to be neither uniform not univocal. Although creativity is modeled during childhood, at the start of adolescence, it broadens out to include “fixed creativity”, “cognitive-artistic creativity” and “emotional creativity”, to name just a few. In numerous cases, the work of the initial displacement can take on the face of a replacement, of an anti-creative self-reinforcement of a hyper-cathection, or even that of a psychopathological decompensation. It appears regrettable that this creative typology is not taken into account in the clinical treatment of adolescents. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

      Domaine peu aborde´ dans la litte´rature et la pratique clinique malgre´ un de´veloppement des activite´s d’expression et des art-the´rapies, la cre´ativite´ des adolescents n’apparaiˆt pas uniforme et univoque. Si elle se mode`le au cours de l’enfance, elle emprunte a` l’entre´e de l’adolescence des voies qui s’e´tendent d’une « cre´ativite´ fige´e » a` une « cre´ativite´ cognitivo-artistique » en passant par une « cre´ativite´ affective ». Dans nombre d’autres cas le travail de de´placement initial prend le visage d’un remplacement, d’un auto-renforcement anti-cre´atif, d’un hyper-investissement ou encore d’une de´compensation psychopathologique.
