CHANGES IN TRADE POLICY OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY. (English)

Globalization processes taking place in the global economy affected the creation of the EU trade policy. The turn of the century is a period in which the Union is moving away from multilateralism to strengthen its bilateral relations. This is due to the change of motives guided by Brussels in negotiating and signing new agreements. Recent years have resulted in taking a number of bilateral activities. A good example of a free trade agreement is an agreement between the EU and Korea. Its adoption resulted in a significant increase in exports and a positive impact on the economy of the European Union. Thus, bilateral solution can be an impulse that will ensure rapid development of Europe. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Procesy globalizacyjne zachodzące w gospodarce światowej wpłynęły na to, jak kreowana jest polityka handlowa Unii Europejskiej. Przełom XX i XXI wieku to okres, w którym Unia odchodzi od multilateralizmu na rzecz wzmocnienia relacji bilateralnych. Wiąże się to ze zmianą motywów, jakimi kieruje się Bruksela, negocjując i podpisując nowe porozumienia. Ostatnie lata zaowocowały podjęciem wielu działań bilateralnych, których dobrym przykładem może być umowa o wolnym handlu między Unią a Koreą. Efektem jej przyjęcia jest znaczący wzrost eksportu, co przekłada się na pozytywny wpływ na gospodarkę Unii Europejskiej.
