The article discusses the profile of Tuesday Musical Club (TMC) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2014 and considered as the oldest organization in southwestern Pennsylvania. Particular focus is given to the beginnings and history of TMC. It also discusses TMC's influence on Pittsburgh's cultural scene, its dedication to promoting high quality musical programs in Pennsylvania, and the different musical activities of the TMC.
