    • Abstract:
This article describes key characteristics of a master of business administration (MBA) program that has adopted aspects of a medical education model to overcome some of the shortcomings of traditional MBA programs. Specifically, by presenting a more integrated curriculum and building in a large clinical component, the program described herein presents a new perspective on management education that benefits from drawing on philosophies and concepts that have been used to good effect in training medical students.
