      Despite the threat of war and an increasing troubled global television (TV) sector people in the industry are determined to remain focused on the marketing event of the television sector for 2003. Many analysts and industry leaders had predicted that international TV markets would rebound by now — but they have not. To hear many leading U.S. industry executives talk, the most pressing concern is indeed the deflation of the global TV market rather than war. Still, several industry leaders anticipate that business will be done — perhaps even significant business, including program and format sales.
