Gingival esthetic restorations with orthodontic extrusion. (English)
- Abstract:
Orthodontic extrusion has been widely described in the literature, raising frequent questions with regard to their use and cost/benefit. When properly indicated and executed, this orthodontic manipulation can change prognosis and longevity of treatment. The application of this technique can be diverse, not only individually, but also combined with other specialties; and what differentiates its proposal are the forces employed. The present study aims to demonstrate, through a clinical case, where different types of extrusion were used, how this form of changing the pink esthetic can benefit the completion of a clinical case, and with predictability. a extrusão ortodôntica tem sido amplamente descrita na literatura, gerando dúvidas frequentes com relação à sua utilização e custo-benefício.
