The article discusses the plan of telecommunications firm Alcatel-Lucent to sell its enterprise business as part of a restructuring program named the Shift Plan. According to the company, it has received an offer for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise from technology investment firm China Huaxin that values the business at 363 million dollars. Alcatel-Lucent Chief Executive Officer Michel Combes said that the company has been repositioned as a specialist in Internet Protocol (IP) and cloud networking.
