      The article explores the reason behind man's fascination with being scared. While many in the academic circles believe that the reason behind it was already answered in Freudian terms, Mathias Clasen of Aarhus University believes there is a need to take account the biological programming of man to better understand it. He said that claims that horror films are a way for man to experience more rewarding emotions, which was seen in the case of a woman who is unable to feel fear.
