Treatment Options in Two Patients who Developed Chronic Hypotony Maculopathy After Trabeculectomy with Mytomycine-C.
- Abstract:
The chronic hypotony and maculopathy due to bleb thinning after the trabeculectomy five years ago was detected in a seventy-two year-old male patient. Fibrin glue applied to the patient for the bleb leakage. Fifty-six year-old female with filtrating surgery in both eyes one year ago was presented optic disk edema and choroidal folds in right eye due to the hypotony because of bleb leakage. A stable intraocular pressure was detected in the patient who had the autologous blood injected into the bleb and then applied the pericardial patching and amniotic membrane during the follow-up. Treatment strategies were discussed for chronic hypotony in two cases who had improved of maculopathy and stabilized intraocular pressure during the follow-up. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
- Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
