      The article describes the case of a 38-year-old female who was presented to the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute emergency room with a history of recurrent episodes of redness and pain of the left eye. She was diagnosed with schwannoma after performing a series of tests and imaging studies. Characteristics and treatment of schwannoma are discussed. Recommendations for patients with orbital schwannomas are offered.
