      The article presents a study conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that examines the smoke cessation habit in Americans as of October 2013. The study reveals that nearly half of the 45 million Americans try to quit smoking each year by using nicotine gum or the electronic cigarette, It informs that the CDC is concerned due to excessive use of electronic cigarettes by young adults and children and products' safety.
