    • Abstract:
The article discusses the triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) which is a unique subset of breast cancer that is characterized by the lack of three common receptors including the estrogen, progesterone and human epidermal growth factor which are targeted for therapy of other forms of breast cancer. It discusses the genomic projects conducted to deduce the molecular characteristics of TNBC and its similarities with high-grade serous ovarian cancers.
