    • Abstract:
The article discusses the history and significance of a 19th-century sheet music collection acquired by the Marvin Duchow Music Library at McGill University in 2013. The French sheet music collection was acquired by the National Library of Canada in the late 1960s to complement its holdings of British sheet music. McGill Music Library's interest in the collection is attributed to the Schulich School of Music research strength in nineteenth- and early twentieth-century French art music.
