BUYING FEATURES *JUST IN CASE* IN RELATION TO ADVANCED CONSUMER ELECTRONICS. (English)

Consumer electronics is becoming indispensable in modern life, but also more complex. Products that require from consumer some interference (such as mobile phones, digital cameras, and car navigation) are equipped with more and more functions, often not used by consumers. The paper presents and discusses the results of a nationwide survey carried out in December 2010, in the section on the phenomenon of purchasing functions "just in case" in the process of acquiring advanced electronics. Elektronika użytkowa staje się współcześnie nieodzowna w codziennym życiu, lecz jednocześnie coraz bardziej skomplikowana. Produkty wymagające od konsumenta pewnej ingerencji (jak telefony komórkowe, aparaty cyfrowe, czy nawigacje samochodowe) wyposażane są w coraz więcej funkcji, często niewykorzystywanych przez konsumentów. W referacie przedstawiono i omówiono wyniki ogólnopolskiego badania ankietowego zrealizowanego w grudniu 2010 roku, w części dotyczącej zjawiska zakupu funkcji "na wszelki wypadek" w procesie nabywania zaawansowanej elektroniki użytkowej.
