    • Abstract:
The article reports on the analysis of coded wired tags (CWT) tagged Atlantic salmon recaptured in the Bidasoa River, Spain. It reports that the CWT tag recoveries from salmon stocked in the Bidasoa River was 86.3 percent, while the stray proportion was 13.7 percent. It found that the straying rate of hatchery-reared salmon was higher than that of wild salmon as found in case of other rivers but unknown in Bidaosa River.
