The article presents results of research that determines high school student effectiveness based on English I and Algebra I students' test scores in North Carolina. Researcher C. Kirabo Jackson consider the possible exposure of secondary school students to different teaching levels, courses, teachers and other factors of test score bias. Jackson discovers that students with higher test scores are those under teachers with at least 10 years of experience.
