The article offers information on the increasing use of electronic health record (EHR) by physicians in the U.S. It mentions that physicians found the use of EHR helps them to focus on questioning their patient and EHR is filled by the medical scribe, a person who enters information on the computer. It states that top four national companies has been estimated to by Michael Murphy, chief executive officer of ScribeAmerica, to employ about 4,700 scribes who are working for around 500 hospitals.
