      The article discusses the study done to examine the effect of stress and depressive symptoms mediated re­lationships of perceived discrimination and self-rated health on African Americans. It mentions that a nonparamet­ric bootstrapping procedure was used to assess sociodemographic factors in adults. It also mentions that the greater discrimination is found in the people having poorer self-rated health.
