The article focuses on the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Learning and Technology Sandbox opened at the Bentley University in Massachusetts in September 2011. It states that Sandbox transforms a traditional computer laboratory into a state-of-the-art facility where students can explore career, course, and extracurricular interests through social technologies. Moreover, an interview with CIS Sandbox director Mark Frydenberg and student assistant Jim Petersen is also included.
