      The article reports that the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has found that nearly half of 14 large military information technology (IT) projects are facing budget problems, and many of them are behind schedule. According to a recent report from GAO, at least 5.6 billion dollars were earmarked for U.S. Department of Defense's projects in 2011, out of the total 36.6 billion dollar military IT budget.
