    • Abstract:
The article replies to responses by Joseph McCartin and Stephen Ashby to the author's article "Labor’s Economic Weapons: Learning from Labor History" in the same issue, which argues that U.S. labor unions need to strike more frequently in order to rebuild their strength. Topics include the influence of labor law on strike effectiveness, the relationship between corporations and the U.S. National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and the importance of standardizing wages to the labor movement's goals.
