      The article discusses Internet privacy, hackers and phishers, and the efforts of big businesses to collect, analyze, and sell the personal information of Internet users as of May 2013. Various uses for online data are addressed, including contextualization, facial recognition, and tracking. The U.S. Do Not Track legislative bill, which was initiated by American President Barack Obama's administration in a Consumer Bill of Rights in 2012, is also examined.
