    • Abstract:
The article presents a case study of a patient with severe amiodarone pulmonary toxicity (APT) treated with polymyxin B-immobilized fiber column direct hemoperfusion (PMX-DHP) with complete recovery. No clinical improvement was noted despite corticosteroid pulse treatment. The patient was weaned from mechanical ventilation and has done positively with no recurrence. It is speculated that PMX-DHP could be a new treatment strategy for severe APT.
