      The article discusses a study to determine the effects of isobutane, normal butane, isopentane, and normal pentane on percent hydrocarbon loss. The Reid vapor pressure (RVP) values and American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM data of the blends of butanes and pentanes were analyzed to check the average distillation loss. The blend of two components showed a higher end point than the end point of either component.
