    • Abstract:
The article presents information on the International Collaboration on Air Pollution and Pregnancy Outcomes (ICAPPO), which is working on a project on how to avoid adverse pregnancy outcomes including low birth weight due to the exposure of pregnant women to coarse and fine particulate matter in the air. The study found that higher maternal exposure to ambient air pollution was associated with lower birth weight of infants.
