    • Abstract:
Three methodologies were developed to study the development of childhood perspective constructions: analysis of perspective development and sense using individual drawings of an assigned subject, analysis of the relation of depicted magnitudes of objects situated at various distances from the observer, and selection of perspective images from a series of alternatives. The study was conducted on children in four age groups (113 individuals in all). The results indicate the dominance of reverse perspective spatial representations in preschool and early primary school age. A gradual transition occurs at middle primary school age, in which constructions in parallel and linear perspective become dominant. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
