      The article reflects on the criminal justice reforms in post-conflict societies with respect to Northern Ireland and South Africa. It presents information about youth justice systems and reforms that have helped in peace restoration and reconciliation. It analyses the attempts for including such reforms to develop restorative justice in both jurisdictions and discusses reasons on its failure to be implemented in South Africa as compared to Northern Ireland.
