    • Abstract:
The article presents the views of scientists on closing the gender gap in different parts of the world. Clinical geneticist Lihadh Al-Gazali says that women in the Middle East can't continue their career due to limiting social attitudes in traditional societies. Psychologist Virginia Valian suggests to invite women to speak at conferences. Neurobiologist Ben Barres suggests that universities should have a flexible system for women professors to help them in balancing their career with family.
