    • Abstract:
      The origin concept of learning organizations can be linked to the emergence of the idea of learning society. The article discusses the learning organization and knowledge management dimensions context of competencies of modern knowledge society. It is summarizing the conclusion that learning organizations can be defined as those in which personal development is an integral part of the whole organization, where learning is a continuous process. The main objects of the learning organization are transformation, change, delegation, innovation, working style variation, adaptation, management style, participation, employee participation stimulation. Top-level executives must develop well-reasoned view on the competencies required in the future, and the organization members must understand how to contribute the development of competencies. Planning is required for setting corporate direction and accumulation of skills. Knowledge society competencies expression of individual life skills and their complex, open and evolving, experiencing external factors permanent identification enforce to overcome the challenges of the knowledge economy. The critical issue is how we can help people from organizations to improve their learning ability and to contribute to the learning of others. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      Vienas svarbiausių iššūkių šiandienėje vadyboje yra įvertinti žinių ir mokymosi vaidmenį siekiant verslo sėkmės dėl organizacinių pokyčių. Straipsnio tikslas -- aptarti organizacijų mokymąsi, žinių vadybos ir besimokančios organizacijos dimensijas šiuolaikinės žinių visuomenės kompetencijų kontekste. Daroma apibendrinama išvada, kad besimokančias organizacijas galima būtų apibrėžti kaip tokias, kuriose asmeninis tobulėjimas yra integruotas į visos organizacijos veiklą ir mokymasis yra nuolatinis procesas. Pagrindiniai besimokančios organizacijos objektai yra: transformacija, pokytis, delegavimas, inovacija, darbo stiliaus keitimas, adaptacija, vadybos stilius, dalyvavimas, darbuotojų dalyvavimo skatinimas.
