      The article discusses the uses of quick response (QR) codes in the school library. It states that QRcodes have been widely used in providing access to useful information such as web-based text, maps and videos. It offers seven steps in getting started with QR technology. It also lists 13 ideas for using QRcodes in the library including as promotional materials, presentation materials, and for book connections. The author concludes that while QR technology may likely be replaced in the future, the possibilities that it offers to make a library exciting must be taken advantage of.
