This article presents the author's opinions about the enactment of additional gun laws in the U.S. as a result of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut in December 2012. Topics include the history of the legality of assault weapons in the U.S., a discussion of the government's role in the enactment of Communist theory, and the author's beliefs about the establishment of armed guards and armed teachers in U.S. schools to prevent additional school shootings.
