- Abstract:
The article reports that tribes in the U.S. are working in a collaborative manner to build healthier homes to overcome the problem of mold infestation in Native American tribal housing. It mentions that increased awareness has paved the way for incremental improvements. It notes that Ruth Etzel, professor of epidemiology at the University of Wisconsin, joins Curtis Munoz, environmental director for the Kiowa Tribe in Oklahoma, in calling for more research on indoor air quality on tribal lands.
