      The article presents a response to the article "Legitimate Collaboration: The Administration of Santo Tomás Internment Camp and Its Histories, 1942-2003," by James Mace Ward, published in the May 2008 issue of periodical "Pacific Historical Review." The author explains that she is a survivor of the interment camp, argues that Ward failed to detect the evolution of the internment experience, and claims that he was unable to differentiate between events and individual descriptions.
