      The article discusses ways in which Switzerland has been impacted by globalization, particularly in regards to changes that have been made to its banking and financial systems. Collaboration between the Swiss and U.S. governments regarding potential tax evasion by U.S. taxpayers whose money is held by Swiss banks is discussed. The private bank Liechtenstein Global Trust (LGT) Group is discussed, along with the global financial crisis of 2008 and trade between the U.S. and Switzerland.
