    • Abstract:
The article reports that the National Farmers Union has joined a coalition in calling for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to reconsider the proposed Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards. The coalition says the proposed standard does not adequately value the greenhouse as reduction potential of biofuels because of a lack of proper incentives for manufacturing Flexible Fuel Vehicles. Further details on the lobby effort are cited.
